Herbert Brandt (June 18, 1923 - March 07, 2008)
Herbert Brandt, age 84, died peacefully in his home on Friday, March 07, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 18, 1923 in Kentucky and was a lifelong resident of Harrison Township. Mr. Brandt enjoyed taking trips up north to his cabin in Lewiston, hunting, and four wheeling with his family. He also liked fishing and boating on Lake St. Clair. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Brandt is survived by his wife Evalyn, children Pam (Jeff), Diane (Gregg), Lynn (Randy); grandchildren Aaron (Kim), Kelly, Michael, Heather, Miki; great grandchildren Zoey, Gracie, & Parker; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Brandt was predeceased by his first wife Barbara. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with a Military Honor Guard service at 7 p.m., and Monday from 10:00 until time of funeral service at noon at the Wm. R. Hamilton Co. Funeral Home, 226 Crocker Blvd, Mount Clemens, with Rev. Jack Dundas officiating. Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery.
