Kenneth Paul Hamilton (July 31, 1935 - May 20, 2008)
Kenneth Paul Hamilton of Prescott, Michigan and Winter Haven, Florida, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the age of 72. Ken was born July 31, 1935 and was married to his wife Joann for 53 years. He was a beloved husband and a devoted family man who loved and treasured his wife and children. Ken also loved Tiger baseball, playing cards with friends, and spending summer days on his pontoon boat at his lake house. He also enjoyed spending his winters in Winter Haven, Florida. A hard worker, Ken retired from Ford’s River Rouge plant in 1997.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Joann. Ken will be missed by his eight children, Debra Francis, Darlene (Chuck) Gilbert, Kenneth & Teresa Hamilton, Kim Hamilton (Kevin), Kirk Hamilton, Diana (Dino) Simone, Rick & Sherri Hamilton, and Joann (Bob) Snyder. Ken will also be missed by his 21 grand children and 12 great grand children.
Services for Mr. Hamilton were made through the Wm. R. Hamilton Co. Funeral Home in Mt. Clemens. Visitation is on Thursday, May 22 from 3 to 8 pm at the funeral home. He will lie in state at 9:30 am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Twp., with a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 am, on Friday, May 23, with burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
