Marko Michael Yerkovich (February 26, 2008)
Marko Michael Yerkovich, age 66, died in Ann Arbor on February 26, 2008. Mr. Yerkovich was a resident of Clinton Township for the past 24 years, and had worked as a HiLo driver for the Weyerhaeuser Corp for 40 years. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and also enjoyed playing cards and going to the casinos. He was also a devoted family man who had a unique sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Barbara; daughter Cheryl (Patrick) Young; grandchildren Patrick (Jennifer) and Christopher; great grandchildren Braylon, Tyler, Bryanna, Stephanie, and Mariah; siblings Katie (Jerry) Stram, Maryann Selenica, Frank (Gloria) Yerkovich; sister-in-law Mary Jean Yerkovich; nieces and nephews Pamela, Heidi (Steven), Gloria, Chris (Kristen), Vito, Lisa, Marie, Nikki, John; great nieces and nephews Emme, Cody, Kiley, Zach, and Ronnie. He is predeceased by his father Marko Michael, mother Mary in 2005, brother Vito in 1998, and brother-in-law Dennis. Visitation will be Sunday from 12-9 and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. at the Wm. R. Hamilton Co. Funeral Home, 226 Crocker Blvd, Mount Clemens.
